Seasons in the City… in Stockholm
I recently took a trip to Stockholm over the Midsummer weekend, and my advance copy of my forthcoming book Seasons in the City had just arrived, so I took it along for a ride too! One of my favourite spreads in my new book is the vibrant Stockholm spread — which coincidentally, explores a Swedish summer and the Midsommar celebrations that take place each year!
I couldn’t resist snapping a photo Seasons in the City on the Stockholm spread, in the middle of Gamla Stan (Old Town). Stockholm was one of my favourite spreads to work on in this book (and one that I ‘saved’ to colour towards the end of the project because I knew I’d enjoy it. I love a ‘full circle’ moment with any of my projects, but getting to take my book - which has been such a labour of love - to one of the cities featured in the pages, during the season it focusses on… well, that was pretty special!
