Easter in Ystad

We took a drive to Ystad on Good Friday for a walk through the town to admire the beautiful coloured buildings (these are my kind of Easter pastels!) The most lovely colours and charming cobblestoned streets made for a sweet wander through town, even though the weather wasn’t as cheery as we’d hoped.

Set in the south coast of Sweden (about 45 minutes from Malmö), Ystad is probably most famous for being the setting for the Wallander series. It’s a charming town to explore and I’m already planning a trip back to Ystad later in the spring when the roses are in bloom!
