Mirror Mirror on the wall…

I found a mirror at my local second-hand store on the weekend and instantly fell in love — it was tall, arched, in good condition, and best of all, only $30. After the marble coffee table debacle from a couple of months ago where I bought a 70kg table and had to struggle to get it home again, I was resistant to buy anything oversized again. Thankfully the mirror wasn’t too much to handle, and we decided it was worth the 15 minute ‘lug’ back home!

I’d originally thought I’d paint the wooden frame (growing up in the 90s, I feel like I’ve had my fair share of orange and yellow pine) but seeing it in the apartment it felt right! I love the contrast on the wall and it adds just a little extra ‘oomph’ to this space.
