Osterlen Cottage Stay

Ever since we put the finishing touches on our home decorating (almost a year ago now) I’ve been looking and dreaming of real estate in the country; a sweet little cottage we could get away to on weekends. While a cottage of our own is still very much a pipe dream, I figure it doesn’t hurt to browse a bit in the meantime! With friends visiting us from Australia over summer, we took the opportunity to spend a weekend together in Österlen, in Skåne’s east, and stayed at the most charming summer house for a couple of nights.

Rustic but lovely, it was such a great stay — a big highlight was that it was dog friendly so Saga got to come along too. She loved having a big stretch of grass to run in, and we were able to go on some nice walks around the area each morning. Such a fun weekend, and it’s got me watching Hemnet all the more intently just incase something pops up that we could make our own!
