Ales Stenar

Swedish country cafe, Olof Victors Skane Osterlen

We spent last weekend in Österlen, in southern Skåne, visiting a few different cafes and gårdsbutiks (garden shops) around the area, along the way to main stop at Ales Stenar. Ales Stenar, or ‘Ales Stones’ is a giant, ancient monument consisting of 59 stones arranged in the shape of a ship. Perched on the cliffs looking out across the ocean, it’s a fascinating and scenic relic! Very important fika-stops at Olof Victors and the beautiful greenhouse of Backagården kept us caffeinated and soaking in the spring sunshine!
