Apple Picking

I’m trying to make the most of the changing seasons and research some fun things to do around Skåne — after enjoying our trip to the raspberry farm recently, I turned my sights to apples, and found Glorias Äpplegård in Lund, perfectly timed for the apple picking season. We headed out on Saturday - and remembered as we pulled up that I’d forgotten to pack a carry bag for our bounty - but thankfully we could get a paper bag from the cafe! Rows and rows of ‘Aroma’ apples (a sweet, Swedish variety) all ready to be plucked! The fallen apples on the grounds really lived up to their ‘aroma’ name… walking through the trees smelled like someone had dropped a swimming-pool sized bucket of apple cider on the ground!
