Autumn in Osterlen

We spent a quick night away in Osterlen recently, making the most of the last days of autumn before lots of places around Skåne close up for the rest of the year. With so many places being tourist focussed, many of them are only open during the summer season, so we took the chance to enjoy some of our favourite spots without crowds. We stayed at the lovely Orum119, a cute boutique garden hotel, with a restaurant, bakery and store all onsite too. We had dinner at the Orum restaurant - finally getting to try the delicious woodfired pizza - and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast on site too.

A wander through some of the loppis and antique markets around the area (my favourite spot is only open for a few hours on Saturdays!) and then a lunch at the always great Pastafabriken, at their last lunch sitting of the year. Pastafabriken is always tough to get a spot at during the summer, so it was an extra treat to enjoy a long lunch here while it was quiet. I’ll be thinking about their tasty tiramisu until next summer!
