One hour of blue skies

One of the most notable things for me about having moved to the northern hemisphere, is how much attention I now pay to the seasons — and in turn, really. make the most of every moment of sunshine. Because the days change so quickly, if you don’t get outside while the sun is shining there’s every chance you’ll miss out for the day. We woke up on Sunday and had planned a lazy morning of french toast and coffee, but when we saw the clear skies we changed our plans and got on our bikes for a cycle to the park. A big walk through the last of the orange trees and their leaves on the ground, and the final days for the dahlias in the garden. It was only an hour of blue skies before the grey clouds rolled in, but it was the perfect, fresh start to a beautiful Sunday!
