Pretty Pumpkins

We’ve never been ones for celebrating Halloween, but our first autumn in Sweden - where the carving pumpkins are actually in season - felt like the perfect excuse to try out carving our own little jack-o-lanterns at home. We picked a tiny pumpkin each, and spent Sunday afternoon giving them a friendly face. Joshua went for a very traditional style complete with crooked teeth, and I tried my best to carve some eyelashes and cheeks into mine.

The finished pumpkins are so cute! A sweet rather than spooky take on the season!
