Summer Poppy Fields in Malmo

The start of summer has brought the next batch of beautiful blooms, including the wild poppies springing up along the canals and roadsides. There had been a beautiful field that we visited last year in the south of Malmo, but when we went back to revisit this year, it had sadly been turned into a construction site. Never one to be deterred, when I saw a strip of coral-coloured petals driving through Skåne recently, we had to pull over and admire them. Just next to Kronotorps Mill, stopping for the poppies also meant we got to visit a little piece of history at the same time. A beautiful time of year to stop in!
