Rainbow Spotting: Palm Springs Glassware

RainbowSpotting_PalmSpringsGlassware.jpg

There’s never a shortage of colour to spot in Palm Springs, but one of my favourite things to admire in the antique stores is the huge collection of mid-century rainbow glassware. Most stores arrange them in a rainbow across their shelves, and it’s got to be one of the most satisfying ways to look at the colours, honestly! The Parker hotel is famous for its own collection that sits on top of a window ledge in the hotels entrance, so a visit to the antique stores might be the perfect way to start your own collection, perhaps?

Looking for your own? Some of the best collections available for purchase are at:
Dazzles — a smaller selection, but beautiful pieces on the shelves
Antique Galleries of Palm Springs — tucked upstairs in the individual rooms for different stall holders, this one takes up almost a whole wall
Bon Vivant — a really great collection amidst other mid-century art pieces
